1. Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
2. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente according to the package directions (it will continue to cook in the oven). Drain the pasta, return it to the pan, and set it aside.
3. In a large skillet, cook the sausages over medium-high heat. When the outsides start to brown, add the marinara sauce, cover, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through.
4. Remove the sausages from the sauce and transfer them to a plate. Use a fork and knife to chop them into small chunks, but be careful—they will be hot.
5. Add two-thirds of the marinara sauce to the pasta and mix to coat all the pasta. Transfer the pasta to a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Top it with the crumbled sausage, the remaining marinara sauce, and the shredded cheese.
6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the edges start to crisp and brown.
7. Top the casserole with the parsley and let it rest for 5 minutes. (Letting it rest will help it hold together when you slice it.) Slice the casserole in half lengthwise, then slice across three times to make eight servings.
